Tomato caterpillars...squash beetles...it was like a plague. I think I might just do herbs this year. I love growing rosemary and basil because they go in so many dishes and you can just pop out the backdoor, grab your herbs, and voila! you're cooking extremely fresh! Especially love rosemary bread...
come on spring!~!Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01162985502341523594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4439504375876254629.post-31790597421863725122010-03-01T09:27:45.898-06:002010-03-01T09:27:45.898-06:00Yay! My grandpa grew show roses, but other than that, I'm about it for gardening in my family!

I grew stuff for two years, but then I took last year off because of the baby. This year I'm totally going for it more than before.

I bought heirloom seeds from Etsy: tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, sweet snow peas, green beans, butternut squash, bell peppers, and some herbs. Also maybe strawberries. I tilled up a patch of my backyard last fall. I've been trying to make compost, but I think I'm doing something wrong...Jessiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09461435143872441097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4439504375876254629.post-14621861695996050252010-02-28T18:13:21.347-06:002010-02-28T18:13:21.347-06:00That sounds great.
