Blue Dome was fun, though it wasn't nearly as profitable as last year according to most sellers. I'm sure the economy -- and Friday's wind-tastic weather -- is mostly to blame, though it's always a little disappointing. For all the gory details, go check out this post by Hollyrocks (whose coverage, by the way, more than rocks.)
Since I'm taking a little craft-showin' break, I'm trying to reevaluate what I sell at these events. What better way, I thought, than to ask all of you? So, if you wouldn't mind taking just a second to respond to the poll at the top right of the page, I'd greatly appreciate it. Bonus: If you respond and then leave me a comment of any kind, I'll enter you in a chance to win some Grey Eye Designs goodies. Ooo! Contest will run now through May 29 at 5 p.m. Happy voting and commenting!

It totally depends on what catches my eye! I usually don't shop at a show thinking "I'm looking for a __". What I "need" usually finds me.
I agree with Funkybella, unless it's a craft show during the holidays. I love to look at the different ornaments and other decorations and will go with the intent to look/buy those specific items. Now, if there's something that catches my eye that's a whole other story.
You can't vote on more than one thing! Here, I'll make a list:
Baby/kids
Jewelry
Pottery
Decorative art
Clothes (usually just t-shirts so I don't have to try stuff on)
I thought Mayfest was disappointing to shoppers, but I like the vibe better at Blue Dome, but admit it was hard to find something worthy to part with cash.
I bought some pickled onions and garlic, hmm, not exactly art, but handmade. The onions are delish on burgers =)
